WHAT:
Wake Nation Cincinnati is the region’s newest, most exciting water recreation venue UNLIKE ANYTHING ELSE in the Midwest.
Fun and challenging for experienced riders as well as first timers, Wake Nation Cincinnati is a water sports complex for wakeboarding, water skiing, kneeboarding, and wakeskating … all WITHOUT A BOAT!
Riders are pulled around the smooth water of a 10-acre lake at 18-20 mph by an innovative overhead cable-pulley system. For advanced riders there are challenging jumps, including floating sliders, grind rails, table tops and kickers.
A two-acre grassy island sits in the middle of the lake.
NEW:
New in 2010: The Practice Pond is a separate body of water with a brand new “easy-start” system to make riding even easier for beginners. The new Practice Pond will allow children ages 5 and older an opportunity to ride. Additionally, multiple new and improved obstacles will be placed on the main lake. (Additional information to be released later.)
WHERE:
Located at 201 Joe Nuxhall Way in Joyce Park in suburban Fairfield, 25 minutes north of downtown Cincinnati.
WHEN:
Riding season opens May 1, 2010 and runs daily through October. The park closes each night at 8:00 p.m.
PRICING:
Parking and Admission to the Wake Nation complex are FREE. It is a pay-as-you-play venue with hourly charges for “ride time.”
