Home / whats new / Wake Nation Houston will be Clockwise

Wake Nation announced today that the cable installed in Houston will be a clockwise-rotating cable. When opened in May 2011, Wake Nation Houston will be the only clockwise cable in Texas and only the second in the US.  Clockwise cables are ideal for left foot forward riders. See you in May.

since i will be confined to 2 skis it makes no difference to me. but for you left foot forward guys like me, then this will be perfect.
Can they make this cable travel at 34 MPH? If so i will slalom and no wakeboarder will be able to hang on behind me!

      Hey DUDE,
I can ride them single planks but it is so sloooow. I come from the era of more speed on the water the better!
Went by the park yesterday and it is looking good. Won’t be long. Fair warning- don’t get behind me. I will be on my double plankard wake skis and cutting a trail (hard). I reckon that cable will be raising hell behind me!! See ya out there Dude!

Me again “Dude”. Me and the family have laughed “hard” about me being called a “double planker tard”. I have to say that is hilarious!! Just for that I want to invite you to go out on the new new Moomba Outback V with us, down to the San Bernard and do some shreddin! I suck at boarding but i can throw some water on the O’brien. I have a 20 year old, and he is getting pretty tight on his Liquid Force! Look me up. Old Man, crazy, now skinny legs, but still gettin it. I will be the old man with the 2 plankards on jumping them ramps. Later “Dude”
