Before you try something, you can’t even call yourself a beginner. You’ve simply – never tried. Is that you when it comes to wake boarding? Have you simply never even tried to stand up on a board and enjoy the feeling of speeding across the water with the wind in your face? We want to give you an opportunity to change your approach to wake boarding from “never tried” to “I’m learning!”
Slow Ride Cable
At Wake Nation we welcome all types of wake boarders – from competitors, trick riders, and winter riders, to walk ins, weekend warriors, and newbies. This variety of riders at any point in time make for a great environment for riders to learn from each other and create a community of friends.
We want to also give our newbies the opportunity to have the lake to themselves so they have a chance to learn the basics without being intimidated by other riders speeding by at the regular cable speed. That’s why we offer slow ride cable hours on Saturday mornings from 9:00 am – 11:00 am. This is the time when the lake will be quieter and you’ll have one on one attention from our Wake Nation employees to help you get your legs under you and learn just how to stand on your board, hold the rope, and enjoy the ride.
Join us this Saturday for our slow ride hours! Later this month, we will also be offering slow ride hours on Tuesday for a limited time offer. Keep your eyes open for updates on those dates and rates!
