Wake Nation Houston Construction

Wanted to give a quick update on construction. Started on the foundation for the building today. We regraded the entire lake and we are hydroseeding the banks next week. Our two managers just moved down to Houston yesterday. They plan to be at the next meet and greet. Will post more pictures as they come in. Our opening date will be May 1st. See you all there.

Our residence is exactly 7 miles from the lake. Dropped by the other day and saw where the banks had been cleaned. Looked great. The site is going to be so nice. Those old sand pits make for some beautiful water. Being that i am 54,I don’t care if it’s a left foot or right foot park. I am gonna get me some some of those short jump/trick skis and get after it.Too old to learn another skill such as wakeboarding. But for your sake Ryan, I hope it’s left foot forward. Looking forward to some Evening skiing after work. Sure is goingt to beat running or biking!! Hurry!!!!

After some research I found out I will be wakeskiing. Looks like some serious fun. Reckon I will need to purchase some more skiis. I haven’t jumped in 20 years so this will be interesting. Can’t wait!

You’re only 54!? You’ll be rippin around on a wakeboard no bother. You’ll find theres so much more freedom than on skis. You can rip into the ramp AND bust tricks! Never gets old

      Hey G.P,
Just getting around to responding. I wakeboard a little. Hate at my age to learn a new skill on the water. I used to be a competitive 3 event guy. Slalom, Jump and Trick. I sucked at tricking. You will probably see me on wakeskis doing some jumping. I may try boarding this summer behind the new Moomba??? Takes so much time!!! Look me up at the park. Old man on the wake skis going over the ramps, then headed to the truck for libations!!

Very excited about the park! 288 south is turning into a great place to be. Extreme Go-carting, skydiving and now a REAL cable wake park.. It is in my back yard too.. Let me know if you need any help!!

Wow! I just found out about this place! This is cool and exciting! This is perfect for the days I want to ride and my spouse is off working and not available to drive the boat. You don’t know how many summer days were wasted and I didn’t get to ride because there was no one around to drive the boat! Those ramps look so fun to jump! You can’t get that on Clear Lake! Too bad you guys aren’t open this week (close to your opening, but not close enough). I’m on vacation and I would be there right now if I could!
